Winter is for the birds – and we mean that in a good way!
With bare trees and snow-covered landscapes providing little camouflage, winter is a great time to bird watch.
On the other hand, winter is a very fragile time for Canada’s wild birds. Wintering birds have adapted well to survive the coldest months, but that doesn’t mean we humans can’t chip in to ensure they have adequate food, water and roosting spots.
