On Thursday, February 28 at 12pm, Pathways to Education Canada is convening its 5th Community Knowledge Roundtable. The theme of this year’s event is Skills and Competencies for Youth Success in the Workplace.

The aim of this roundtable is to provide a forum for employers, young professionals, youth-serving organizations, and researchers to share their experiences and knowledge on soft skills and competencies that are indispensable to young people as they transition out of high school and enter today’s job market. The roundtable seeks to explore the crucial role that soft skills and competencies play in young people’s transition to adulthood and employment.

Registration is free and open to anyone interested in skills and competencies for youth success in the workplace and beyond.

We hope to see you there!

Sounds like an incredible opportunity for different stakeholders to come together around an important and emerging issue.

Will there be an output from this day that you will be able to share back in this forum?

Thanks for sharing this!

Hi Arti,

We’re not sure yet what format that will take, but we are planning to share insights from the presentations and the discussion panel.

We also plan to live tweet. I will share the hashtag closer to the event.
