In British Columbia kids are coming into school with more need for SEL programs than ever before.

How do we know how children are really doing?

Dr. Kim describes the Middle Years Development Instrument (MDI) and the Early Years Development Index (EDI), population based measure to determine how children are doing in terms of social / emotional competencies.

Are there other measurement tools for social emotional learning that you are aware of? Please share?
