OTF has invested just over $43 million in 204 projects across the province since 2015 to programs the support our Priority Outcome of More Children and Youth Have Social Emotional Strengths. Of that, close to $5M is invested in developing new ideas, testing new approaches, or conducting new research, thereby creating new evidence for the field.
Within the Priority Outcome area, $30 Million in investments were made to programs that support children and youth facing barriers develop social and emotional skills, and $13 Million to programs that equips parents, caregivers, and adult allies with the skills needed to support children and youth facing barriers - gain social and emotional strengths.
It would be great to get a sense of our collective investments in supporting social emotional learning.
